Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, on Friday evening led former President Olusegun Obasanjo on a visit to the Ancient Kingdom of Abiriba. The former President was on a visit to the community to attend the burial ceremony of Madam Beatrice Enyindiya Agbai. Obasanjo: "All the people from this place I have worked with are exceptionally good and loyal....I also count it a privilege to meet your Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, for the first time and it is obvious to me that he is a man I want to work with because of his passion for Nigeria and Abians. I know he will do well and go very far in Nigeria......I am proud of him and happy to know such a humble young man doing very well in a leadership position in Nigeria within such a short time" Obasanjo was given the Chieftaincy title of Ikejioha of Abiriba Kingdom by the Enachioken of Abiriba Eze Kalu Kalu Ogbu. President Obasanjo was accompanied on the visit by former Governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Imo Deputy Governor Prince Eze Madumere.
